6/19/2013 · Ombre hair is a gradient effect where your hair is light towards the ends and becomes gradually darker towards your roots. To make your hair ombre at home, you’ll need to apply 2 coats of bleach 1 or 2 weeks apart. For the first coat, apply the bleach to the lower half of your hair.
